The HTS12 consists of two pairs of front and rear SP-S2 passive speakers each with a peak power of 150 watts, one SP-C2 passive center speaker with a peak power of 200 watts and one SW-1201 powered subwoofer with a peak power of 1000 watts. The total peak power of the whole speaker system is a massive 1800 watts! This is the type of power that will give you one of the most professional sound outputs from your system. The movie watching experience that you will enjoy will be like nothing you’ve ever heard. The SW-1201 has a low pass filter that can be engaged or not. If want a more precise frequency signal distribution to your subwoofer and your satellite speakers engage the low pass filter…the lows will go to the subwoofer and allow the mid and high range frequencies to pass through to the other speakers.

Setting up this system is very simple. You do not need to be a high level audio professional to set this up! The powered subwoofer has an amplifier built in. The powered subwoofer will power itself and the satellite speakers as well. The inputs are standard RCA and bare wire connections. These are very standard connections that anyone can understand and set up with ease.
