The PP1210 delivers superior sound quality by utilizing advanced materials, like its lightweight, roadworthy molded ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadine-Styrene) which gives it very high impact strength and temperature tolerant. The PP1210 is a two-way speaker system that is lightweight yet rugged for live music or speech applications and will handle 250 watts program and 750 watts peak. It utilizes a heavy-duty 50oz 12" woofer with accordion edge surround that delivers rich lows and a wide dispersion 3.5" titanium driver delivers extraordinary high-frequency extension due to a design that combines very high motor strength with low moving mass. Its durable injection molded enclosure features a black powder-coated steel grille that provides driver protection and a professional appearance. This system can be used on the floor or be pole mounted. Connections are made via two speakon (input/link) connected in parallel to accommodate daisy-chaining. The three port design smooths air flowing in and out of the cabinet, reducing turbulence and port noise. The three ports also increase linearity, lowers distortion, reduces 5th order harmonic distortion, provide an output increase as high as 2-3dB and help to reach extra low bass.
