Loudspeakers that have power to spare! The Podium Pro Audio PP1203A are so easy to set-up, you will be blown away by their clarity and plenty of bass. The only draw back to these powered loudspeakers are that you will wish that you had found them sooner.

Sophisticated design and measurement equipment, including computer assisted design software was used to design this speaker to achieve an optimized balance and interface between components to give the best quality performance and longer life. The 75oz 12" woofer with accordion edge surround and 3" aluminum voice coil deliver rich highs, deep bass and are always crystal clear. The wide dispersion titanium membrane tweeter with 2" voice coil delivers extraordinary high-frequency extension due to a design that combines very high motor strength with low moving mass. The four-port port design smooths air flowing in and out of the cabinet, reducing turbulence and port noise. The four ports also increase linearity, lowers distortion, reduces 5th order harmonic distortion, provide an output increase as high as 2-3 dB and help to reach extra low bass.

The most exciting feature of this powered speaker is the built in amplifier. 300 watts RMS and 600 watts max power output per speaker is perfect for any audio application. The amp features an XLR or 1/4 inch jack input and separate volume control for a microphone. An XLR input or RCA for one additional component. An XLR line level output for adding an additional powered speaker. Master volume control knob, treble knob and bass knob round out the awesome features of this built in amp. This speaker is used by musicians, DJ's, rental companies and many fixed installations including houses of worship, theaters, music halls, meeting rooms, amusement parks, hotels, stadiums, nightclubs and auditoriums.

The rugged, lightweight ABS plastic cabinet has a side handle, rubber feet and a pole mount with knob adjustment to secure to any size speaker stand. The top of the cabinet has stacking grooves for stacking one speaker on top of another. Power cable and full instructions are included.

We use the PP1203A on many of our props. In a haunted attraction you have to shock the senses of your patrons to achieve what they paid for (getting scared out of their minds). This monitor is quick to hook up and has enough power to hit our patrons with blasts of sound that they feel in their bones. "I want to Connect my iPod or Laptop to my Powered Speaker"

The impedance and signal level of a headphone jack does not match the impedance and signal level of a powered speaker, therefore, although the speaker may perform for a short while the volume will be lower and eventually you will damage the speaker. You must use an audio converter to protect your speaker and your warranty. If the speaker is damaged by connecting an mp3 player, iPod, or iPhone directly to the speaker with out an audio converter kit, it will not be covered under warranty.

An iPod / iPhone / or mp3 players can not be directly connected to Powered Speakers. You will void your warranty by connecting an iPod / mp3 player / laptop / computer /or iPhone directly to the powered speaker without the proper converter, as this is an impedance and signal level mismatch.

To connect your speaker with an iPod or iPhone use a SendStation PocketDock.

To connect your speaker to a laptop or computer use a Alesis MultiMix 4 USB.
