I'm writing you today to tell you that I am just blown away with the sound quality of my new PP802As that I bought from you. I run a Shuttle bus service with Karaoke on-board. I actually invented the computerized Karaoke system in this bus and I am very picky about every component that makes up my system. I was initially going to install a pair of KRK Rokit8 studio monitors for the amplified speaker system. Although they aren't meant for live performances they are just about as high end as it gets when it comes to sonic performance. Then I came across your PP802A speakers and started reading the customer reviews on your website. No one had reviewed this particular model but I took a chance anyway knowing full well that these speakers would not even compare to the KRKs I had initially intended to use. I bought your speakers on a Deal Of The Week special for $99 apiece and let me tell you that there is NO WAY I was expecting the crystal clear sound that's coming out of these little speakers. Unbelievably smooth sound at a price that I'm still scratching my head over. Vocals sound like they have just been mixed down by a mastering engineer. They blend perfectly in the mix yet somehow cut through to achieve a crisp sonic definition that makes you want to sing all night long. Needless to say I'm very happy with these speakers and I will be back for more.

I've purchased a few items from you and can't believe the value. You guys keep hitting home runs and I will be purchasing from you again! The first purchase was for a pair of PP183 18" subs. They were installed into JBL JRX cabinets. My only issue was the mounting holes are really close to the paper cone, I wish they pushed the holes out farther toward the outside diameter of the cast frame. It was an easy fix, I just drilled new holes out a little farther. Last week we noticed one cabinet was not working so I purchased another PP183 last Sunday, I just finished the install and the speakers are ready to roll for tonights show. We run a QSC 2400 watt amp pushing a pair of these and we cross them over at 100htz.. As you know the secret to a good sound is plenty of clean power and these things thump! They sit under a pair of powered Mackie speakers. I've been playing live music for over 25 years and just can't believe how much more gear you can get for your money now. Back in the 80's you would need to spend many thousands to get a decent PA system.
My 2nd purchase was for your powered PP1503A, we also have 2 powered JBL Eon speakers that we use for live sound stage monitors, the whole band thinks the PP1503A sound better than the JBL's! I purchased a little amp stand that sits on the floor and tilts back so I've been using my PP1503A as a stage monitor. I'm sure 2 of these would cover a small sized club for front of house tops, 4 would probably do a nice size medium room. You should see more items shipping to Northern Indiana as we let out your little secret on these fine products!

I received my order on 3/31/10, and I proceeded to stop my yard work to test out these speakers. You see, I was a skeptic and I was perusing the 'net looking for a set of powered speakers to take the place of a retrofitted powered system that I had put on a pair of passive speakers. Additionally, I had hit all the local stores to shop and hear all of the "name brand" speakers. These stack up and surpass some of the famous maker stuff, and considering the price they are a phenomenal buy!! Anyone choosing the so called famous pro audio items are out of their mind. If you are looking for a good PA with QUALITY sound these are the way to go. Any other speaker system would be overkill, over spending, and just plain crazy!! When I need another set, this is where I'm buying.

I tried them at my church on our Christmas Program Singing and I was overwhelmed with the quality of sound they put out. Our church seats about 600 and the sound was great. I wouldn't trade my speakers for any other speakers on the market.

I've used my Pro Audio 10" and 12" powered speakers for about 6 months already. When I turn them on, people turn their heads! I believe if I had all the money in the world, I would still use my Podium Pro Audio speakers!! Some older places I've played don't have very good power, even then the noise isn't bad. With good power strips the noise is gone!!

All I can say is I am impressed and glad I decided to take a chance on you guys. I purchased a pair of Trap 15's and 2 pair of Sub 18's. I am a hip-hop, R&B dj that has been renting from a friend. He of course had high priced named brand stuff. JBL, Mackie. I connected my new setup and turned the volume dial half of what I used to with the other setup. Without exaggeration the gutters on the OUTSIDE of the building were shaking. I could not even turn it up to where I used to. It was unbearably loud. At a nice comfortable level, the subs were chest pounding, something I was never able to achieve with the other setup. They are not just loud. The subs are clear and go low. The Traps were clear as well as loud. I found the subs sound best crossed over at 175hz and the Traps take it from there. You definitely have a customer for life. Please continue to make high quality products at a price that EVERYONE can afford.

Several months ago I went through the arduous task of trying to find some speakers for my DJ mixing needs. As with most people I did not want to spend a ton of money but still wanted to get a quality product. In this day and age it seems many equate a low price to low quality. Let it be said that this is not true with these Podium Pro speakers. I use these with a 500 watt QSC amp and they just totally rock! These are extremely clear and have amazing bass response. If your amp can push these the speakers just do not distort. Granted with a horn for the highs I had to lower my treble a little but to each their own and again once a little tuning was done these really are just amazing. The build quality appears to be very good and the speakers look great on the exterior. All of my questions you answered almost instantly even when I sent them all by email. Great product, great price, and great customer service. I have recommended your site to so many and I know I will be returning again.

For years we have performed on this "grand stage” using their dispersion system and at every performance, whether South Pacific, Pajama Game, Kismet or Damn Yankees, these gals were the lead vocals/actresses, the sound delivery to the audience received criticism. As a team with you and using proper economics we solved this with a direct email to OnlyFactoryDirect, "we want vocals to be heard in the grand hall without distortion and reverb!!!". Mike at OnlyFactoryDirect selected for us the upgrade to 350 watts rms each for Podium 15 inch to give me clarity, not "thump".
Well, here is the review. No mention of sound except "kudos", that is what we wanted. Thank you, thank you again.
The STATE THEATRE's were built for acoustics, and these speakers driven by older BGH amps for monitors and Behringer Europower Amp mixer and put on stands to be 5 ft high along with the monitors (12 inch) from Factory Direct, we gained full access to the talented vocals without exception thus not overdriving the natural acoustics engineered at the STATE in Oroville.
"I say, put a simple "P" on those speakers, and it will be recognized as the "Podium" for those whom do not want to fall into speakereze overpriced thumping sound traps. The manager of the STATE said "thank you for not using our system of overbearing on dispersion using overhead clusters". We now go on to the Copa De Oro for a 250 seat theatre/stage for a Valentine Show! We will leave their EV's aside and go with vocal clarity from the Poduim Speakers..... "P" for "perfection in vocals".
An article was written by John Loewe, a critic of sound at the STATE. He also is the editor of the Oroville Mirror, who took the time to see the show and write a review. He came back stage to let me know "the sound was perfect".
The hours it takes to get these shows on stage do not deserve to be "submarined by bad balance in clarity"; we avoided this by taking the advice of OnlyFactoryDirect.

I received my PPB12 speakers and must say I am impressed. The construction is rock-solid and they definitely can handle the power. At first the dual 1/4" jacks were confusing, but I guess they are there for a reason. I use the one on the left to feed the speaker. I suppose the other one is a pass-through jack for other speakers but I am not 100% sure. One thing I noticed about the sound is they really start thumping as the volume gets louder. You definitely want to drive these with a 100 Watt per channel amp or better. I could only hear crackling distortion when my EQ had the highs up to max. When driven with a slightly increased treble setting they sing nice and clear. The mids are clear as well. These are good for home entertainment as well as sound reinforcement outside in noisy conditions. Thanks!

I recived my Podium Pro Audio 15" Trapezoid Pro Audio Speaker yesterday 7-32-09 and we used them last night at practice. I bought these as add-ons for our Peavey SP-2 mains as we do alot of out door gigs. I hooked them up and set them on top of the Peaveys and the sound was incredible for cheepie speakers, the horns have a better sound than the peaveys and we wound up just running the Peaveys just as subs. I admit I was leary because of the price but this product is just as good as any other high dollar mains out there. If you post this on the reviews, maybe it will put other decisions like mine at ease. For the money you cant beat the product.

With 5 being top-notch or 5-Star, I 'm rating the Trap-12's PA 2-Way Speaker Pair a definite 5+; also the 12" Pair of Podium 400Watt Woofers the same thing!! I simply adore the way these beauties sound! It's like a live Jazz-Fest or Rock or Country concert in our bedroom!!! I never dreamed I'd have such a fine low-cost - great sounding system. I use the Speakers and 2-Way Cabs (along with my GTDAudio 1200 Watt Pwrd Mixer-8-CH) as part of my Recording Monitor and Keyboard Midi-Rig in my bedroom Studio. Enough sound and power to level the house!! Believe me, it sounds Beautiful!!

I ordered two Podium Pro PA speakers (PPT12C) and I could not be any more pleased. One thing that blew me away was the 12" woofer. When I play music, I have to have deep bass. The bass on these speakers is very intense and full. I couldn't believe woofers had that much power. Also, the crossover made me hear highs that is usually only heard with headphones. The clarity is unbelievable. Overall, the speakers went above and beyond my expectations. I will be doing business with you guys again real soon! I happily give you permission to post this review. I think everyone should know the amount of bass the speakers put out. I'm very impressed.

Buy everything you can from these guys before they realize how great their product is! I not only value a company by the quality of their product, but also their service when problems happen, as they can with anybody. I had a similar UPS disaster as mentioned by others, but was also worried about whether I bought the right speakers (3 way or 2 way). They were going to do whatever it took to make me happy and changed my order twice before it came, without complaint. I did not get what I paid for, I got what I should have been paying 3-4 times what I did. I had these speakers checked by the local Midwest expert on factory audio service & repair (Located outside Kansas City) that works with & services every audio product made. He could not believe what I paid! My 3 way speakers have made my Karaoke system the envy of all my Karaoke friends. I am not kidding people, buy everything you can! Heck, buy anything and if you decide you don’t want it sell it in a garage sale for twice what you paid. I'm a very satisfied customer!!

I bought a pair of concert speakers from Only Factory Direct, and I couldn't be happier with them. The price was right, the speakers are loud, and they sound good. I couldn't imagine getting this good of a product elsewhere for a similar cost. I was also very satisfied with Only Factory Direct's customer service. I recieved my speakers very quickly. However, UPS damaged them. A few of the plastic corners used to stack the speakers were cracked. Only Factory Direct mailed me replacement parts, free of charge. I also recieved the replacement parts very quickly. I would most certainly do business with them again.

ABSOULTELY A-1 SERVICE. Saw the speakers online, went to the web site and ordered. Shipped that day with tracking available. The Podium Pro 12” drivers (PP121) are a steal (so far). I’ve put them in a vented enclosure to supplement my Eminence’s and add some “punch” to my kick drum that our smaller PA doesn’t provide when we play in mid-sized venues. They sound great so far in the studio, and I’ll add another review in a couple of weeks after I “Put some Watts to them” a couple of times, but I’m betting they will be fine. Very impressed, I’ll be back.

I needed outdoor PA speakers and looked at all the high end stuff going for a grand and up per cabinet. Way out of our budget to provide a PA for an outdoor race track. I ordered a pair of the Pro Audio 10" woofers and installed them in custom built weather resistant cabinets, driven with a 300 watt PA head. These speakers have been mounted now for one year solid, 30 feet up on a telephone pole in rain, thunderstorms, snow, sleet, temperatures from -11F to 105F and wind gusts of 75 from a tornado that barely missed the track. They endure extreme humidity here in the Mid West, along with choking airborne dust at the race track that gets in to everything. After one season, these speakers still hit hard for music playback and live announcers with no sign of giving out. I've been doing this a long time and have never before seen a value like these woofers. They are loud and solid and do what we need them to do at a tough venue for PA speakers. If anyone is reading this because they doubt the quality of a pair of tens for fifty bucks, just know that if these speakers can take the beating that our race track gives them outdoors, they'll hold up to anything. However you guys wrangle these astounding low prices and still ship a decent, no-bull product, well, all I can say is I hope you keep it going and are in business for a long, long time. All any of us customer types wants is a decent product at a reasonable price with customer support that treats us like human beings... and OFD delivers on all of these. I never review anything or email this stuff... until now. Your product and price point is top shelf. Look for my name in your orders in the future.

OFD, I bought a pair of these to allow us to play an outdoor concert on July 4th, I was out of town the prior week on business so the first time I saw or used them was that day (July 4th). These absolutely blew me away with the sound. Well constructed, well engineered, they ROCKED with the Active Crossover sending 600 Hz and lower. We high-fived each other when we heard them. A lot of other subs require 300 Hz as a ceiling, but these actually sounded better with the extra freq on top. We had a Crown driving these at 1500w a side and these never showed any sign of not being able to handle that kind of power. We did notice clipping of the Crown at full bore so we backed the Crown off a little (7/8 of max) and at that level no clipping, no distortion and Loud as all get out. Friends of mine have unpowered Yorkies and these sounded as good or better (granted, there are lots of variables in that statement). I am writing to you for the reason of how happy I am with the 10" speakers you sent me. I have had my Bose 501's for about for about 21 years and to me there the best speakers ever made. I lost one about 6 months ago, the foam edging deteriorated and I re-foamed it only to find that the coil was fried. I was searching online for replacement Bose and I contacted Bose company. They told me that the driver itself was not serviceable any more. Unhappy with there reply I searched online for replacement. Yes i could get used 501s, but chances are they would need work also. I searched for 10 inch drivers and found your store. The speaker fit perfectly. I tested for few hours, and since i have original Bose left out of a pair I can honestly say they sound better than the original drivers. I was very happy to see how the speakers were packaged, I of course made UPS driver wait until I opened and found no damage. I appreciate the timely delivery of speakers.

Got the speakers today. Sound is UNREAL! These are TOP QUALITY for sure - truly PRO Speakers! Even the magnets on these 10-in GEMS are over 3-LB each - WOW! I really don't understand how you can do that when I have seen similar items elsewhere going for over $200 a pair! Maybe you will respond to this nice note and give me some idea just how in the hell you can afford that...and still stay in business! I don't usually respond like this. I want to thank you for your very helpful input on the correct speakers for my home stereo. I told Sasha on the phone that 90 percent of my listening will be stereo music, cd's, mp3's etc and very little surround sound, but when I do use surround sound I want to make sure it is very high quality as well. I have heard a lot of in ceiling that are ok for surround but just won't handle high volume music. I had done quite a bit of research for affordable in ceiling and in wall speakers that would handle both music and surround. There are literally 100's of choices. Locally I shopped live demo's of Klipsch and Niles. Upon Sasha's recommendation I purchased from you four Theater Solutions 8 inch ceiling (TSS8C), one in wall center (TSLCR5) and one 12 inch 500 watt subwoofer (RT500). Thank you, these are EXACTLY what I was looking for. The sound is absolutely amazing. I turn my music up very loud at times and the sound is incredible. Great highs great lows and no distortion. I have used the surround on a couple of movies and again all I can say is amazing. This entire setup, 5 speakers and 1 sub was easily 80 percent less than the "high end" name brands and I believe every bit the sound quality. I just moved in and only a couple of people have seen my setup. The ones that have listened to them will be buying their system from you.

Having hooked up 3 of Theater Solutions TSLCR5 center channel speakers as front left, right and center; 2 of Theater Solutions TSS8C 'in ceiling' symphony 8" speakers as surround left and right; 2 of Theater Solutions TSS8W 'in wall' symphony 8" speakers as rear left and right; and the RT350 powered sub... all to a Denon 1908 amp and a Sharp d64 52" lcd and we're really pleased.

Regarding the RT350 Subwoofer I bought from Factory Direct, I spent many hours looking at different brands of subwoofers on the internet comparing features and cost. I finally decided on the RT350 from Factory Direct. As cheap as they sell these subs compared to other manufactures, I was very leary, as to the quality of them. I emailed them a few times, they responded very quickly and told me what I needed to know. I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. I recieved it, hooked it up according to their "line level" instructions, and was very dis-satisfied with it, as it put out less bass than my 75 watt sub that I previously had hooked in to my surround sound system. I called them and talked with Sasha, explaining the situation to her, she was very concerned and helpful and offered to exchange it for the larger RT500 unit and just pay the difference. I than mentioned that I should maybe hook it up at "speaker level" and also try a different RCA cord and see if that would make a difference. I picked up a 6' split RCA cord to replace the cord that they send out with their units. I hooked it up with the new cord and that is all it took, I had all kinds of bass! It sounded great. I ended up hooking it up at "speaker level" and also connected the new RCA cord, I had to turn the volume down! I highly reccommend these people, I definetaly would buy more of their products.

Hi Randall...those 12" subwoofers kick ass. My stereo system has a subwoofer output that made connection fast an easy. Setting the bass level was easy also. The auto shut-off is a feature that cannot be beat. My classic rock and Sirius never sounded so good. I received the speakers the following day after payment was made. Surprised the heck out of me.

I want to compliment the support I received recently by onlyfactorydirect. I purchased a dual source, 4 zone speaker selector switcher with volume controls over 2 years ago for a friend. We had only used 2 zones of the speaker selector box until this week, and everything worked fine. We added 2 pairs of speakers to the final 2 zones just this past week. Unfortunately, I found there was a problem with one of the plug in wire connectors on one of these zones. I looked up the purchase on Paypal and contacted onlyfactorydirect for some tech support. Unbelievably, I was relieved to hear that they would send me a replacement part asap, and if that did not correct the issue, a brand new box would be sent to me! I purchased a 4 speaker selector with individual volume controls. My son and I hooked it up and I couldn't get enough volume through my speakers without forcing the receiver into the "protection" mode. A few emails later, after the guys at OFD tried to figure out what was wrong, they sent me a replacement. My sons hooked up the new one and it worked. Compare that to your experiences with other retailers. I regret that I don't have a lot of speaker needs so I could continue to do business with OFD.
Suggestion for them: Branch out to other products. I would buy anything I needed from OFD if they sold it.
